What made these projects special to us? Hello, my name is Tasha Burkett and I am pleased to have been chosen for the WBW design team. I can't wait to get started. I love the files they create. I am a mother of two: Zach, 11 and Xena, 9. My husband Bob of 11 years is active duty Army and we are currently stationed in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo but we are from the Hershey, Pa area. I am a family childcare provider on our military installation. This allows me to be home for my children and to be able to create also.
I started scrapbooking in 2003 and have been addicted since. I began scrapbooking when I saw something online and I said I WANT TO DO THAT!! I want my family years down the road to see what we have done. I want my children to know what the people in our family were like even though they are no longer with us. So I have worked long and hard and I am able to do that now. I love being able to create new things and seeing ideas and getting inspiration from them.
I had purchased at one point the Sidekick, I used it 2x and did not touch it after that. It was too much of a pain to put together, hold onto it and I was limited to what size and font I was able to use. Once I was introduced to the Wishblade I wanted one. I was told by someone that the Wishblade was more expensive and to purchase the CraftRobo, which is what I did. I haven't turned back since. I have saved so much money by owning it-it has since paid for itself.
My hobbies besides scrapbooking are spending time outdoors with my family, computer crafts, paper crafts and handmade crafts. Having the cutter has changed how I do paper crafts; it allows me to make things so much quicker because I don't have to cut them by hand anymore. I just have to work on decorating them, which is my favorite part. I enjoy being able to get away from everyday life and just sitting and working on projects, it allows me to have an out when I am having a bad day, or something has happened with my family or I am stressed.
Which cutter do you use, how long have you had it, and tell us something that was really helpful to you in learning how to use the machine? |
